About Lucia
Her performances are, in the original part, a reflection on her life and, in the reruns, an intimate interpretation of classics of French music, as well as a multilingual repertoire of jazz and world music. Considered by many to have a voice with a very beautiful timbre and unique interpretation, her musical journey intensified after her return from France, where she lived for 5 years, when she began playing on the streets of São Paulo, in the duo Les Jasmin Basilic. She is a prominent figure in the São Paulo French music and jazz scene, playing solo, as a duo and in bands in renowned venues such as Palácio Tangará, Bistrot de Paris, Madeleine Jazz Bar, Paris 6 and Casa do Chef Eduardo de Castro. Her portfolio includes performances for the consulates of France, Monaco, the government of Quebec, the Alliance Française, Fronteiras do Pensamento and the city of São Paulo, in addition to being recognized for her participation in a documentary series about street musicians, Buscando Buskers, produced by Felistoque Filmes, which was shown on Canal Sony, Music Box Brasil and TV5 Monde, and is currently on TV Brasil and Arte 1. Her original EP and several singles are available on streaming platforms.
